This week the baby boys were sick and spent most of the day cuddling with mommy.
Pretty soon they are going to be way to big for me to hold both of them at once. And poor Brooks on top of being sick had his first tooth break through. We had another super cold week here.
(this is Casen keeping warm by the fire) Iowa is cold! We have been in the negatives...a lot! My friends and neighbors keep promising that this winter is very unusually cold. It's so cold that Cody has lost his mind and went out to get the mail in his hawkeye pants and my knee high boots.
It was like a car wreck, horrible but you can't look away. Have to share a couple of pictures to make you smile. Rilyn's dance costume came in.
Isn't she beautiful!?! And Casen left the Greek yogurt out where Brigg could get ahold of it and he made quite the mess.
I'm still trying to get yogurt out of the cracks in the floor and finding it on my table. Look at that smile though. It was worth it!

Ice Skating
This week Rilyn and I had some special mommy/daughter time and went ice skating.
It was so fun! I don't think I have been in at least 10 years and it was Rilyns first time.
She was great and was really getting the hang of things by the end. She would skate a lap and then stop for a minute and then get back on the ice. She keeps asking when we can go again. Rilyn also got to go to her first sleepover!
I still can't believe that happened. I was waiting all night for the call to come get her and it never happened. When I went to pick her up I heard that the girls stayed up past midnight and knowing Rilyn there is no way she slept past 7. She said she was the first one up. She was pretty tired the rest of the day. She had a blast though and is now planning her own sleepover. Oh boy!

2 Kids in Primary
This was Casen's first week in primary. He was not too sure about this whole primary business. He had to sit on his teachers lap all through sharing time and then we had to make a deal that I would stay in the hallway outside of his class so that he would stay in his classroom.
It was fun. Right now I'm feeling like getting to actually listen to church is never going to happen. This week was also Cody and My 9th anniversary and he, of course, had to work. I waited for him to come home so we could eat dinner together since we never get to do that.
(this picture is from 2004 when we were dating) Rilyn and Casen were a little jealous of all the treats I made for dessert, don't worry I shared. Cody had a day off this week and we all headed to the museum, again.
The twins are both now officially walking as of this week. CRAZY! (Here is a video of Brooks walking) Brooks is a little better at getting around than Brigg is but they are both all over the place. Every time one of them takes a step Rilyn and Casen get so excited. The start cheering and yelling "Hes Walking!"

New Year New Blog
So with the new year and everything new with our family I decided it was time for a new blog. Cody had to work on New Years Eve (all night). Boring! The kids and I toasted with apple juice before I sent them to bed and then fell asleep by 9:30. I know, we're crazy over here!
A couple days later Cody had a day off so we went and played at the Children's Museum.
